We offer a variety of ministries here at In His Word available for people that are interested in plugging into the church and helping others in the church and the community.

WORSHIP MINISTRY
Our worship ministry works with our leaders to ensure the Sunday morning service meets the needs of our church members and those in the guests and visitors that we have the opportunity to minister to. This includes organizing the flow of service, taking care of needs in the sanctuary, and taking care of special guests.
PRAYER MINISTRY
Our prayer ministry leads, develops and emphasizes a commitment to prayer within In His Word. Our prayer team creates and communicates lists for prayer requests, plans prayer sessions, leads special prayer sessions, and meetings for prayer.
MEN'S MINISTRY
The men's ministry of In His Word is involved in planning or leading men’s groups, prayer sessions, outreach engagements and other ministry activities that encourage and equip men in their calling as husbands, fathers, and as men in the church of God.
WOMEN'S MINISTRY
The women's ministry of In His Word is involved in planning or leading women’s groups, fellowship events, special prayer sessions, outreach engagements and other ministry activities that encourage and equip women in their calling as wives, mothers, and as women in the church of God.
YOUTH & YOUNG ADULT MINISTRY
Our youth and young adult ministries extend to all school-aged children and college students. The leaders of the youth and young adult ministry oversee and lead the meetings, events, teachings and discipleship opportunities for our young people at In His Word. Most of all, developing relationships to lead our students to Christ.
OUTREACH MINISTRY
Our outreach team leads the charge of planning and leading events, activities, and ministries for our church to connect with our community and engage people around us with the invitation and truth of the Word of God. This could include events here at the church or in the community that brings us into contact and conversation with the people around us.
MUSIC & SOund MINISTRY
Our Music Ministry sets the atmosphere to lead our church in growing in worship and making it the focal priority of all that we do as the body of Christ. Our praise team prepares music that will encourage our worship to be in Spirit and Truth. The IHW sound ministry works during every service to ensure that all audio, music, and sound equipment works accordingly.
usher & guest services MINISTRY
Our guest services and usher ministry works together to provide the best experience for our guests, members and visitors. This team welcomes visitors to our church during each service, helps them feel welcome and at home. The team then works to follow up with them through cards, notes, or emails to encourage repeat visits.
Food Services MINISTRY
Our food services ministry develops and plans fellowship activities to promote relationships and connection among the members and guests of IHW. This includes the meals for fellowship event, community outreach, special receptions, or other opportunities for our members to enjoy getting to know each other as brothers and sisters in Christ.
